 Thursday, June 28th, 2007 : The Saringhimig Singers heads to Southern California. This year's competition will be held at the International Choral Festival in San Luis Obispo, CA. The event will span three days from Friday's welcoming concert through Saturday performances and the Grand Finale on Sunday.

Saringhimig Singers is a group of 30 quality volunteer singers who are dedicated to superior choral performance in all styles performing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and internationally.

Since the group's beginning in 1974, the members have all shown a strong dedication to the group as well as to each other. Having incorporated the rigorous rehearsal and performance schedule into our lives, we are as much a big family as a choral group. The uniqueness and magic of this group is due to its director and founder, Mr. George Hernandez.

Booking and Tickets

While there is currently a waiting list for membership in the ensemble, we encourage you to visit one of our rehearsals and to sing with us. If you wish to audition, please plan on performing five short selections that show the widest possible range of musical and vocal color.

Working from a diverse repertoire that ranges from popular Broadway musicals to awe-inspiring chant and Sacred songs, the Saringhimig can tailor a performance for your organization no matter what type of event you're planning.

Our versatility and ability to sing from the Renaissance music, Filipino and international folk songs, standard and popular favorites, Filipino Kundiman and popular songs, spirituals, musical theater selections and operatic repertoire.
